Like many other online retailers of spectacles, the lenses are made in Asia by highly qualified and experienced opticians, we are based in Seoul where we can offer much faster and more consistent delivery times with higher quality lenses than competitors operating out of China. We know ordering an item as personal as spectacles could be a concern but our native English employees will do their best to communicate with you if you have any concerns or problems.

Our prescription glasses are made by expert opticians in top quality facilities. We specialize in making plastic lenses because of the lightness and durability over glass lenses.

What do you offer over other online retailers of prescription lenses?

How do I get my prescription information?

An optician will create your prescription lenses and assemble your spectacles but an optometrist is the one who will preform an eye exam and write your prescription.

There are many places you can have your prescription measured from specialist eye hospitals to optical retail outlets. Many countries require all patients to be issued with their prescription immediately after an eye exam, it is this information you will fill in online. The PD (Pupillary Distance) is often not included but it is measured and you should request it is filled in on your prescription.

There can be a surprising amount of variation in the way prescriptions are filled out; the layout and terminology used are not always uniform. If you are unsure how to fill out our prescription form please contact us and we will take care of it for you.

Where do you deliver to?

We are an international company, currently we operate in the USA and United Kingdom with prices listed in USD and GBP based on your location. Soon we will be targeting more territories such as Canada and Australia and later in to Asia. Required information for your prescription lenses changes slightly based on your territory, this information will be automatically displayed clearly when you fill out your prescription information.

How easy is it to order my spectacles?

We have streamlined the process as best we can. To be able to keep your details on file and track your order you need to log in to our site, we've simplified this process by allowing you to log in using your Facebook account, using just a single click if you're already signed in to Facebook. You can keep complete control of your personal information using services you trust.

How do you handle delivery and how long will it take?

We are very proud of our delivery system, we started opticalelite.com because we wanted to provide a better service for buying prescription glasses online than the existing retailers. Some online shops can make your spectacles, but few will be able to deliver them reliably.

That's why unlike other manufacturers of spectacles working out of Asia, we set up in the top class working conditions and infrastructure of South Korea, home to some of the world's biggest global companies where can much better offer a reliable service.
